Our Work

We develop low-cost, durable particles to transfer heat in a concentrating solar-thermal power system integrated with thermal energy storage  The cost target will be around 5 cents per kilogram, and the team will demonstrate the particles’ durability at 1,000 degrees Celsius, and outline the preliminary design and cost of installation  This project will help reduce the cost of particles to lower the levelized cost of energy
